As you walk along the streets of the Eixample district you sometimes have to take a double pass to see what you are actually looking at! More often than not, its a temple dedicated to looking good.... some sort of beauty salon or upmarket hair salon, not the latest restaurant or hotel.

The best stylists are difficult to see, so you're much better getting an appointment first. Be sure that your stylist can speak English. Don't accept a friendly nod and a lot of smiles and yes-es as an understanding of what you are looking for. Having said that, some of the best hair stylists work in Barcelona and the best are tryly gifted. They can cut your hair to any style.

Even the macho boys take their appearance seriously (they just work harder to look straight). They often spend hours waxing, shaving and preening, to get that "rough-look" just right. Outlets such as Man Professional Care have the latest in cosmetics to make you look like a million bucks! Just be sure to bring your credit card.

If you don't believe us, just take a look around you the next Saturday night you are out in say, Zeltas or Dietrichs and look at the Barcelona boys! Its hard work, but the view is delicious.
